The WIRED Lab is an audio-based research group initiated by artist and curator Sarah Last. The group is focused on further developing Australian sound artist Alan Lamb’s pioneering work with ‘The Wires’, an instrument consisting of tightly strained spans of fencing wire that stretch up to 300 metres across open landscape.

The WIRED Lab project is conceived as an ongoing investigative project that concurrently engages with overt and invisible spatial specificities of site through the generation, documentation and application of sound. The WIRED Lab commenced in April 2008 on a isolated farm 2000 feet above sea level in the Muttama region of south-west NSW.

I was engaged to implement the project's community webspace.
